Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme has described the deaths and divorce he's experienced as piling up until he could only smile and accept it. "Carnavoyeur" leans into this theme of life's cyclical nature, where scavengers eventually become food themselves. Chris Goss, who co-produced this track, also mixed Brody Dalle's self-titled album.
